Overview

Wilson Hellaby primarily sources from farmers throughout the North Island. Our business is in chilled meats, targeting butcheries, supermarkets, further processors, hotels, restaurants and institutions nationwide. We also directly supply chilled cuts to selected export markets. These customers require quality supply 52 weeks of the year and, as a result, our livestock requirements are reasonably consistent throughout the year.

Livestock Requirements

Our minimum weekly requirements are for 3,000+ prime steer and heifer; 10,000+ prime lamb; 250+ prime butcher ewes; 2,500+ pigs; and 800+ goats. We have also recently opened a separate room for boning cows, and welcome interest from farmers who are looking to have their cows processed.
